For every classroom

Accessibility

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Concretely:

  • Text colors are contrast-verified against their backgrounds at 4.5:1 or better; color is never the only carrier of meaning (grade bands pair color with text labels).
  • Everything is keyboard-operable, with visible focus outlines; dialogs trap and return focus correctly.
  • Pages use semantic landmarks, one top-level heading, labeled form controls, and a skip link; live regions announce search-result updates to screen readers.
  • Animations respect the reduced-motion system preference.
  • Materials are not locked in one format: every resource can be read on the page, printed with clean black-on-white output, copied into Google Docs, or downloaded as an editable document, whichever works best for a given class.

Known limitations

The interactive catalog needs JavaScript; without it, every material remains reachable through the grade, subject, type, topic, and standards indexes. Downloadable document files reflect the same content as the web pages, which remain the canonical accessible version.
