D2.Civ.14.K-2 How people improve their communities

Describe how people have tried to improve their communities over time.

Why water teaches this standard well

Clean drinking water is one of the clearest ways people have improved their communities over time, from digging wells and building public fountains to organizing creek clean-up days. Students can describe water improvements in their own town and the people who made them happen.

Materials tagged with this code are written to the full standard , and each carries a written note explaining the alignment. See how we review materials.
